Welcome to our Breakfast and Afterschool Club<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Silverhill Primary School provides a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for children attending the Breakfast and After School Club. Our aim is to support families by offering quality care that complements the school day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For all enquiries, bookings and amendments please email afterschoolclub@silverhill.derby.sch.uk<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bookings can be made by downloading a registration form from the website or by calling into the office in person to collect a registration form. Confirmation of bookings will be confirmed by return email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both the Breakfast Club and After School Club operate out of the main school hall. On occasions the Club may need to relocate to the year 5\/6 wing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organisation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The club is managed by the school and the activities are implemented by trained members of staff namely our Club Manager and Play Workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Children are able to access pre-planned activities or create their own games using the clubs  wide range of resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Before & After School Club is a provision that is based on sessional fees that need to be paid in advance in order to secure your child’s place. Sessions are paid for monthly in advance. Four weeks’ notice is required to cancel a place. We also accept all childcare vouchers. Once a session is booked it must be paid for. The cost of late collection is \u00a310.00 per 15 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Care, Learning and Play<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We seek to meet the children’s needs and promote their welfare. Activities are planned to provide play based opportunities to develop children’s emotional, physical, social and intellectual capabilities. A full range of activities are available for example board games, arts and crafts, as well as access to outdoor space and a wide range of play opportunities. Our club offers a safe, secure and stimulating environment where children have the opportunity to play, learn and develop freely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Example Daily Timetable of Provision<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Breakfast Club<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

7.30am- <\/strong>Doors open, children welcomed and registered on arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tables set up for breakfast alongside selection of construction and Art activities to access if they wish<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8.30am <\/strong>\u2013 Intervention children will be escorted to their classroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8.35am <\/strong>– Tidy away followed by Just Dance or other physical activity<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8.45am <\/strong>– Collect bags and coats and line up ready to be escorted to class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
