Welcome to Year 5! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our teachers are Mrs Roberts (5R) and Mrs Minifie – Monday – Wednesday, and Mrs Mitchell – Thursday – Friday (5M). Our Teaching Assistant is Mrs Attwell and our Inclusion Teaching Assistant is Mrs Probert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
By the time we reach Year 5, we really understand how to be independent learners and have the motivation and passion for learning to ensure we reach the high expectations we set. Our exciting themes start with ‘To Infinity and Beyond’ – an opportunity to test our scientific skills. This is followed by a ‘Road Trip across the USA’ during which we explore the vast continent of North America. Our final theme takes us back in time to discover the ‘Mysteries of the Ancient Egyptians’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We have the most fantastic library area and love to read. This was made even more amazing recently, when Mrs Orgill, a previous Year 5 teacher retired, and donated comfortable beanbags for us to relax on. You will often find us with our noses in a book and we enjoy sharing books with our friends and making reading recommendations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
