PTFA

Welcome to the Silverhill Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) page.

We are a registered charity run solely by volunteers. Our committee is elected at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) each year, which is usually held in the first term. Silverhill PTFA is currently run by a small group of volunteer committee members –

Chair – Sarah Harrison

Treasurer – Liz Beesley

Every year, Silverhill PTFA raises funds which go directly back into enriching the education journey of Silverhill’s pupils. As a result of the generosity of our school community at our fundraising events,  we have been able to fund enrichment opportunities for each year group so that their teaching staff can deliver memorable experiences and enhance their learning. For example, Roman Day in Year 3, Egyptian Day in Year 5 and Year 4s trip the museum!

Silverhill PTFA is open to anybody with the school’s best interests at heart! And you don’t have to come to endless meetings or give up countless hours of your time to make a positive difference to the children’s education. Sometimes it’s a case of serving tea and coffee after a Nativity Play at Christmas or supporting the running of a stall at the Summer Fair! If you believe you can volunteer some time, then please get in touch with us!

One of the easiest ways to support us is to use Easy Fundraising or Amazon Smile. Simply select Silverhill Primary School PTFA as your charity and every time you shop we receive a small percentage with now cost to you!

If you would like to be involved in our fundraising endeavours you can find us on FacebookInstagram or email us silverhillptfa@gmail.com – it’s all fun and definitely worth it!

Silverhill PTFA follows the ParentKind modal constitution. This was adopted by Silverhill PTFA when it was adapted in March 2021.
