Since starting as Headteacher at Silverhill, I have been truly blown away by the strong, positive relationships that exist between school and home. This partnership is vitally important for every child’s success and wellbeing, and I am deeply grateful for the support and trust that so many of you show our staff every day.
At Silverhill, all our staff work tirelessly to provide the very best education and care for every pupil in our school. They do so with commitment, compassion and professionalism. It is therefore essential that all communication between parents, carers and members of staff remains respectful at all times.
Please be reminded that abusive, aggressive or disrespectful behaviour towards any member of staff — whether in person, over the phone, via email or online — will not be tolerated under any circumstances. We understand that concerns or frustrations can arise, and we are always happy to discuss these in a calm and constructive manner so that we can work together to find solutions in the best interests of our pupils.
If further discussion is needed, this can be arranged in the first instance with your child’s class teacher, who will be able to listen, advise, and support in resolving any issues.
Thank you for your continued support and for helping us to maintain a positive, respectful and safe school
community for everyone.
